The staff here were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped us with everything we needed. The location was perfect for partying in the vibrant Northbridge area. The free breakfast was surprisingly good, better than most places. The common area was well-controlled and everyone respected the noise restrictions. The neighborhood was nice and the hostel had free internet and storage, which should be a standard in all hostels. The small size of the hostel made it easy to socialize and meet new people. It was a cozy and quiet residential area, perfect for relaxing. the experience was super enjoyable and I would definitely recommend this place for a mind-blowing stay.

The building was beautiful and had a nice atmosphere. I liked the decoration and the friendly staff who were helpful. the breakfast provided was simple but nice. the sheets and linen were clean and the porch and inner courtyard were great places to relax and meet people.
The location was a big issue for me. It was too far from the city center and there was no public transportation nearby.

The hostel had everything we needed for an epic vacation with friends. The location was spot-on, close to the CBD and the train station, making it super convenient to explore Perth. The hostel itself was rad with cool facilities like a TV room with free wifi, a library, and an office with loads of info. And the best part? The breakfast included was a lifesaver after partying all night - bread, jam, cereal, juice, and coffee, yasss!
The only thing we wished for was more lively activities for young party-goers. While the hostel had a chill vibe, we would have loved some organized events or socials to amp up the fun factor even more.

I chose this hotel for attending a conference in the city center and it was a great choice. The staff was attentive and helpful, the location was convenient, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. a positive experience.
The only service I missed for my work was a business center or a dedicated workspace within the hotel. It would have been helpful to have a designated area where I could work and have meetings without any distractions.

Loved the Gothic-like charm, convenient location near restaurants and bars, and the daily free breakfast. Breakfast time was definitely not early enough for my aristocratic schedule. And the cold room at night? Just the perfect opportunity to showcase my extensive sweater collection.

I had an amazing time at this hostel! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they made me feel welcome. The communal kitchen and outdoor dining area were a great place to meet new people, and the breakfast materials provided were sufficient for everyone if shared fairly. The hotel facilities were clean and well maintained, and the location was convenient with easy access to the city and train station. I also appreciated the help I received from the reception staff with bookings and directions. a fantastic stay!
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The rooms at The Witch's Hat were cozy and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. I loved the vibe of the place, it gave off a 'cool hostel' feel which suited my laid-back personality perfectly. The bed linen provided made it hassle-free and the lounge room was a great spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, having access to shared bathroom facilities wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it promoted a sense of community and I even made new friends!
Only downside was that the room didn't have a private bathroom, but hey, that's just my personal preference.

I had a fantastic experience at Witch's Hat. the staff, especially the friendly team member from Germany, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that my trip ran smoothly. the location was outstanding, within walking distance to the vibrant nightlife of Northbridge but also close to shops, bus stops, and the excellent Perth rail service. the shared amenities were well-maintained, and the hostel provided a friendly and fun atmosphere. I also appreciated the free hotdog meals every Saturday, which were delicious. Witch's Hat offered exceptional value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to book there again. Cons: Can't think of anything 😊.
